Is there a trick to getting exofoliants to suspend in mp? I tried to make a milk and oatmeal soap - I ground the oatmeal but it all sunk to the bottom of my mold.

If you want to suspend something in mp, you need to melt it, stir in your additive and then stir, stir, stir until it becomes thick (viscous) but not so thick you can't pour it in your mold. You will notice when it gets viscous enough and then work quickly or you will end up with most of it still in your container and not your mold. It takes a couple of tries to get the method just right (or atleast it did for me) but it can be done. Good luck!

Thank you! Do you leave in on heat or take it off while you stir?

Just before you pour, you stir to cool the soap down before molding. As it cools it get thicker and holds the additions hopefully, this assumes you have already done color and fragrance. So yes take it off the stove/heat. Good luck and let us know how that works for you!

Exactly what melia said. Take it off the heat to cool it down. Good luck.
