Teach Soap

I am a bewbie here and just ordered some rebatch of goatsmilk melt and pour.
I have no Idea where to start.
so, where do I begin.

OK..It is rebatch.
It is goats milk.
I am melting it in the oven right this minute
Soooo stressed out.
Its definately cp.
I added a little milk, and when it melts, I guess I can add some kind of oil and smell, RIGHT??
HELP!!!!!
I now wonder why I got 50 pounds of this stuff.
I am a beginner and probably should have gotten some clear melt and pour, and started out slow before I decided to purchase sooo much.
I feel like I bought the wrong stuff.
Im nervous because this soap seems to irritate my skin somewhat.
I bought a bar of goats milk soap and loved it.
That is what started this.
Initially I just wanted to learn how to make soap, but thought this would be a good beginning.

Be aware that rebatch will never be as fluid, even after melting. More like a glop into your mold. Depending how many lbs. you are melting, you can add 1 tsp. of oil per pound and up to 0.5 oz. of fragrance.

Yes, It is a glop... LOL.
OHHH MY, MY!!
OK. Its in the oven at 150 degrees.
I am stirring every 15 min.
Can I add some oats, or brown sugar or herbs after melting?
I think this rebatch is a little harsh.
Is there a way to make it a little more mild?
Is it suppose to be like this? Oh what a crisis.

It burns a little bit.
It gave me a little bit of a rash but it went away pretty quickly.
The lady I bought it from said she used goat milk from her own goats....
I thought it would be as wonderful as the first bar of goats milk soap I ever bought.

It has a beautiful amber color.
I guess I wont need to use colors it it, will I??
I sooo wanted my soap to be as pretty as the soaps Ive seen on here.
I have never seen such beautiful soap as some of you make.
I watched soap queen on youtube...wonderful!
I hope when I am a grown up soap maker I will laugh at this moment.

The soap is very fresh..
Its still moist in the center. it dents when pushed on,and is darker in the center.
I believe it was made a week ago.
smells like the old lye soap that my mother wanted to wash out my mouth with for saying something naughty...LOL.
Its the same color too.
It makes my skin feel nice and moist though.
Perhaps you are right that it needs more setting time.
