Teach Soap

Hi all,
Just started out and went to JoAnn's to get soap base as a beginner. I also recently discovered Bramble and ordered their bases. I've have not used my Brambleberry base yet, only the ones I purchased from JoAnn Fabrics. Has anyone noticed or will I see a difference with Bramble's bases? I'm thinking either I'm making a lot of mistakes or that the bases from JoAnn's may not be as great. I'm getting lots of bubbles even though I'm using a ton of alcohol spray, trouble removing the soap from molds (already ruined 2 molds), and the color isn't mixing well. Can anyone comment if they think there is a difference or is it just my mistakes?

I have not tried BB's base (I use another supplier's base), but I think it will be a much higher quality than what you can find at the craft store. Also, practice will help.

Did you try to put the soap in the freezer for a few minutes? Sometimes that helps, but could cause issues with layers, embeds, etc.

I love BrambleBerry's base! The stuff from the craft store is crap; doesn't melt well and is very drying.

Which BB bases do you like? Have you tried the low sweat? If so, is there enough moisturizing to please most people?

I sometimes use the bases from a hobby store when I want to try something new because theyr cheaper. I have noticed a difference in the bases from BB and hobbylobby or joanns. I like the bases from BB alot better

Yup, that's what I'm thinking that the craft store products are just not the same quality that wholesalers can provide. I got a variety pack of BB soaps. Can't wait to try them. They are at a better price than the craft stores too. I'm going to use up my craft store soap for my learning practice and move on.

I've tried the Honey, Shea, Shaving, Goatsmilk, Clear & White. I love them all and so do friends and family that have received the soap as gifts. I've never tried any others, but researched ingredients from other suppliers before I purchased BB and thought they were the best.
