First soap ever. M&P coconut base, Blueberry with ground loofah topped with mango and coconut with juniper berries.

What do you all think?

Mistakes that I made.
1) Poured coconut too soon, was intended as a third layer and not a mixed second layer.
2) Too much loofah, its a bit rough.
3) Too much blue powder, some resided on the bottom and creates some blue suds at first.

Questions
1) Not yet, but maybe I will turn this into a small side business. which costs less to produce, M&P or CP?
2) A lot of my mixed ingredients sank to the bottom or floated on the top, what is the best indicator to know when to add exfoliants to ensure they are properly mixed?

I would keep it simple til you get the hang of it. I realize that you're excited and want to try many different things, but more is not merrier in this case.
I would not have used juniper berries. If there is any moisture in them at all, over time they can grow moldy. If you mix your blue soap color with a little bit of glycerin first, it will be easier to mix.

:D Congrats on your first batch of soap. I know it is pretty exciting!

Good advice given by Soap Buddy! Keep it simple, practice your techniques, read up on things (books and forums, etc.). Give yourself plenty of time and gain some experience before venturing out commercially. When the time comes, I'm sure that you'll get plenty of support here!
