I've been having a weird problem with M&P and silicone molds. I get tiny (I mean really tiny) bubbles that cling to the mold and thus end up on the surface of the soap.
I tried a few varieties of MP, different brands, clear and white, same problem.
I tried pouring MP onto pieces of different kinds of silicone, same problem.
I took an extreme closeup of some soap and the bubbles in it:
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Alcohol doesn't seem to work, and lower temps help reduce the number of bubbles but not eliminate them. The tiny bubbles seem attracted to silicone; with other molds they float to the top and vanish on their own.
Thanks for any help, insight, or wisdom!
