I've been trying to create the perfect (or nearly perfect) bright topaz blue for one of my embedded soaps....I've tried all kinds of blue combos and still can't seem to figure this out.

Anyone have ideas on this?

I do know that BrambleBerry clear melt and pour is yellowish so getting the perfect blue will be tricky. In the realm of colorants I suggest giving Rustic Escentuals a look. But the twelve mica sampler and try all the blue colors they have. They have an interesting variety that I've just started testing.

They also sell crystal clear melt and pour if the yellowish hue of BrambleBerry makes the color change.

I have tried mixes of all of the following...cellini blue mica, 1982 mica, antique blue mica, raspberry blue pigment, sapphire lab color, pool blue lab, oceana lab, teal lab, ultramarine blue pigment as well as blue titanium dioxide...tried all kinds of combos...

I would definitely try starting with an ultra clear base. Topaz blue is a bit like a light teal, isn't it? Have you looked at a color wheel to see what colors you might try mixing to achieve the color you want?

What I'm trying to find out now is a company I can buy the ultra clear from that will ship priority mail to Hawaii. Any Ideas? I've been looking but haven't found one yet?
