Teach Soap

Hi there, I am very new to the craft of soap making. I've ordered other products from BB but just found the forum during my research and wanted to ask about shampoo bars. I prefer not to handle lye at home so was wondering if I could use the M&P as a shampoo bar and add a small amount of oils (castor & EVOO) for extra moisturizing properties. Also, do I need to add water and a preservative? I was thinking of ordering the sample M&P kit and testing each one.

Any help (or recipes) is very much appreciated.

Welcome!
You can try adding a very small amount of olive oil or castor to the MP base, but you will loose some bubbles. No water or preservative needed.
