The only danger I've found with M&P is that it is very addictive and my boys like to poke their fingers into the soaps before they're fully set.

Brambleberry has several good books to get you started.

I buy the Shea Butter and the Goat's Milk the most but I have tried and like all the bases.

Any of the BB bases are very good. Don't forget your fragrance and color.

Thanks so much everyone for the feedback!

I think I will try the Shea Butter base first. I LOVE Bath and Body Works old Green Clover and Aloe soap (it is discontinued now). Does anyone have a soap recipe for something like that?

I really look forward to this...how exciting to have some new friends to talk to about it! Pretty much everyone I talk to just looks at me and laughs like I am so silly. I think they may be tired of hearing about soap. LOL I am probably just a little too excited, I guess.

I don't know what type of a soap it was, but Green Clover & Aloe is available as a fragrance duplication.
