Has anyone ever put dried juniper berries in their MP soaps? Aside from being pleasing to look at, are there any other benefits to using them? Would they shorten the shelf life of the soap or turn brown like lavender and many other botanicals do?

They will most likely turn brown over time. I don't use botanicals as I prefer not for them to go down the drain.

Oh! I didn't even think about them going down the drain! Good point Irena! I think I will leave them out of my soaps after all. Thanks as always!
