Ok, I took my soaps to the local weekend farmers market. (Craft fair)
We set up before sunrise and break down by 12:30pm.

So we didn't have sun exposure until about 11-11:30 in our space. As soon as the sun hit. My red turned to a very light pink. Can even say peach.
It took less then 5 minutes for the sun to destory my soaps. I had over 50 different types of colors of soap setting out. And I just couldn't cover them fast enough. They are lost. At least color wise.

Should I not use liquid colors for soaping? I do have body and lip safe mica's that we will be changing to. But I would hate for the moneies I spent on dyes to go to waste.

Any suggestions would be nice! I am so shocked. And we are going again this weeked. The farmers market is every weekend!

There is something called 'UV Inhibitor' that you can add to your soaps to protect them from fading in the sun.

I didn't know they made that for soaps. I do have some for my candles.
