I was is CA for the holiday and stumbled onto some handmade soap with a preservative I know nothing about. Does anyone have experience with Tetrasodium EDTA? I've been perusing the web and I'm finding mixed info.

Also, does anyone have experience with Tinosan SDC (or Silverion 2400)? I've read that its an all natural preservative and I'm wondering how effective it is and if anyone has had success with it.

EDTA is a chelator. It prevents scum. I tried Tinosan and it failed; miserably.
