Clearly yellow is not the best color choice for a bath bomb, but these are scented with gingerbread fo...and brown would definitely NOT be a good choice for colorant either...what do you suggest?

I think it looks fine. You could always leave them uncolored.

You could make them Christmas colors, since they're gingerbread scented.

You can also add a little cappucino mica. It gives it a nice speckled look. Or you can do a tiger stripe ( alternating layers).
For christmas last year I used sugared poinsettas from wilton. Placed them on the bottom of the mold then filled with bath fizzie mixture. I was going for a plum pudding effect. Sorry I don't have any photos to show.

You CAN use water based colourants, it WILL fizz when you add it but if you mix it really well then there wont be any additional fizzing afterwards. Make sure you pack them SUPER tight though.
