I apologize for raising such a silly question.
I am sure this has been asked before, but I have not been able to find the answer.

Currently, I just use my olive oil CP soap as a shampoo bar too... and my hair feels great!!!

would mixing the soap with water convert it into a shampoo??

Can anyone plz share a simple shampoo bar recipe with me?

Personally, I prefer syndet shampoo bars to CP shampoo bars. CP shampoo bars have too high of a ph for my hair.
Syndet shampoo bars are made using surfactants.

The CP soap + Water combo will give you a mixture that feels like snot and will separate. Plus, it would probably be a good place for mold to grow

Adding water to a solid soap, especially one with a high olive oil content will make it look like snot. Some people can use sollid soap for their hair, but I can't. It makes my hair feel like straw. I prefer syndet shampoo bars as well.

I've been using a liquid soap made 90/10 olive/castor on my hair for months, and I really like it. For others, it's too heavy (but I have dry hair).

of course your hair doesn't like CP shampoo bars, because of the pH. but you can re-equilibrate (?) the pH with a rinsing lotion, this one for exemple:

30% vinergar (or limon juice if you dont like the smell of the vinegar)
40% water
30% Infusion of stinging nettle (?) (for greasy hair)

you can also do an after-shampoo with a low pH

and your CP shampoo bar must have a low superfat (1% or 2%). I don't know why, but all our CP shampoo bar have a low super fat.

if you want a liquid soap shampoo, you can make it with potassium hydroxyde (KOH) instead of sodium hydroxide (NAoH)

I prefer CP shampoo bars with a rinsing shampoo to syndet shampoo bars beacause my hair doesn't like washing bases (?)


P.S : the interrogation points (?) mean that I'm not sure of the translation

My hair does not like bar soaps at all. It makes them gummy and waxy, even with an ACV rinse.
