 Post subject: Lip Balm Base

Not sure if anyone tried this, it states on the elements B&B site that if you add an equal amount of oil to base (lip balm), that his will make gloss. Does his sound right or make sense? If so, which oil can be used? Thanks!

I make my own lip balm with beeswax and olive oil - if I increased the amount of olive oil it would be shinier and more of a gloss - most vegetable oils can be used. Olive works well - best to experiment with a small amount and see how it goes.

Castor oil gives a nice shiny and non-sticky gloss!
