This is like my forth batch I made, the first three seem to take a while to set up and seem to make the tub greesy dirty afterwards ( which I am not to fond of ). I follow the two cups soda and the one cup citric acid, plus the 3 tbls kaolin clay and because it seems too dry even after the 18 ml of perfumed oil I added almond oil. I found it took a while to set up and bought plastic molds 4 of them to keep in while drying. This last batch I ended up less oil but more sprays of witch hazel and left them in the molds. I do have one of the mondo bath bomb molds and that one set up so hard I could not get the ball out of it. I assume they set up so much faster this time because of less oil and more witch hazel. I was afraid they would expand and get out of shape so I kept them in the molds for about an 1/2 hr.
My question is do you use several molds or just one mold and let them open air dry?
Do you pack them real tight or just slightly tight?
Do you add more oil or witch hazel if they are still crumbly?
Do you have to clean out the tub after using a bomb?
