Hi Guy's

I have a question about Preservatives.

I have been looking at some of the lotion recipes from Soap Queen but can't seen to find anywhere to buy the preservatives in the UK i.e Germaben II & Phenonip?

Is this something that is unique to Bramble Berry or the USA?

Is there an alternitive that I can use?

Preservative: Germaben® II
INCI: Propylene Glycol (and) Diazolidinyl Urea (and) Methylparaben (and) Propylparaben

Preservative: Phenonip®
INCI: Phenoxyethanol (and) Methylparaben (and) Ethylparaben (and) Butylparaben (and) Propylparaben (and) Isobutylparaben

See if you can find it by the INCI name.

See who your local INOLEX rep is. They have some great preservatives which under EC regulations allow you to class a product as "preservative free"! Zero parabens, which is in tune with customer fears...
I use Spectrastat in our creams and have excellent results. INCI: caprylhydroxamic acid (and) caprylyl glycol (and) glycerin
Aromastat is "preservative free" in the EC; INCI: caprylhydroxamic acid (and) phenethyl alcohol (and) glycerin
