How should I price my bath bombs?
I'm not really sure how to go about doing that...

The teach soap method of determining cost is very thorough. However, looking at your list ... do you really use $5 of which hazel on 1 dozen bath bombs? You need to spread the cost of the mold over the life of it, not over a single batch. Etc, etc.

A much more general way to cost things is to take the ingredients per item and multiply by 3. The idea here is that 1/3 of the price is materials (don't forget packaging and labeling!), 1/3 is for overhead (gas, phone, molds, etc), and the final 1/3 is for you (profit).

It is certainly more of a "rule of thumb" method, but it will get you close.

Oh, and I know you're in Canada and things must be different ... but here I can get 4 pounds of baking soda at Wal-Mart for $2.12 ... so you might want to look for another source if you're paying $3/pound!!

Canadian Dollars are not the same as US Dollars, silly!

You should add up what it would normally cost you - that way you know how to set a price that you would regularly charge.
