Teach Soap

I am dying to make a foamy sugar scrub. I was just wondering if it is ok to purchased the already made foaming base and just add in the sugar or some other exfoliant? Im relativly new to this and I have only been making soap bars. However, I want to expand my creations and I love foamy things for the shower/bath.

The recipe I use incorporates pre-made bath whip, m&p soap, vegetable glycerin and FO/EO. I don't know the exact link (Don't have my "favorite websites" handy), but i'm pretty sure I found it on the Wholesale Supplies Plus website. There are some great recipes on there. I love using pre-made bath whip for sugar scrubs because you get the benefit of a scrub with soap....so it's less greasy!
