I am doing some sugar body scrubs and I was wondering if I should make them less oily. I myself like them more oily than wet sand like.

I prefer emulsified scrubs, so they don't make me feel greasy.

I love mine oily. That is the whole point to exfoliate and moisterize at the same time. I make mine with lots of sugar and good moisterizing oils. I also make emulsified ones. I find like them in the shower, but still prefer the oily one better.

How do you make emulsified scrubs? Can anyone share beginers recipe? Thx

I like mine oily, and so does my grandma. It's less abrasive on the skin. However everyone else I make it for pretty much wants the 'wet sand' consistency. I'll make a double batch of oily then add sugar to half of it for the scrubbier stuff.
