HAIR CONDITIONER SUBSTITUTES

Can hair conditioner be made without liquid silk? And can polawax/ewax be used in place of the BTMS-50? And if polawax/ewax can be used as a substitue, would the amount used be the same as in Anne Marie's recipe? What could take the place of liquid silk if I want to find a replacement instead of doing without?
I have all the other ingredients except for those two, and would like to make hair conditioner to go along with my liquid shampoo.

the ingredients being:
2 grams Liquid Silk
22 grams Liquid Glycerin
35 grams BTMS-50
13 grams Jojoba Oil
6 grams Sweet Almond Oil
12 grams DL-Panthenol
374 grams Distilled Water
4 grams Fragrance Oil Blend
4 grams Optiphen

Yes it can be made without silk. Try a small batch with ewax and see how your hair likes it. Take a look at Swift's blog. She has recipes there. Just search "conditioner" on her site. http://swiftcraftymonkey.blogspot.com/s ... nditioners
