Does anyone know where to get this locally, such as do they sell at grocery stores or walmart. If so what section do you find it in. I hate to order it online the shipping is pretty high and I don't need anything else right now. Thanks a bunch

I've read somewhere that Fruit Fresh from the grocery store is citric acid. It will be more pricey, but I would check it out.

I use Fruit Fresh a lot when canning and it does have citric acid in it, but it also has dextrose, ascorbic acid and silicone dioxide in it.

In Canada we have a store called the bulkbarn which sells all kinds of foods ( eg.baking ingredients, nuts, Confectionary candy, dried fruit etc.) in bulk form. I know that they carry it there. Maybe there is something similar where you live.
I googled as well and walmart did come up in the pharmacy section. give them a call and see if they carry it, that way your not wasting a trip for nothing.

Citric acid is also called sour salt. Look out for that name too!

Thanks everyone for your responses. I did find it at walmart- pharmacy section and it was expensive ($16 for 16 oz) it is cheaper to buy it online but since I didn't want to wait to make my bath bombs and I just did my order from BB I got it there but in the future I'll defitenly be grabbing it from BB on my next order below is a pic of a couple of the bombs I made. One scented with vailla pear, one blackberry vanilla, and one EO peppermint and lavender. Yumm
