I got a sample of the dead sea salt scrub from bathbodysupply.com and my wife loves it. I tried making it myself and the scrub I made is nice but the texture is pretty loose where the sample was more like taffy. How do they get that consistency?

It's most likely the behenyl alcohol as it's a thickener.
