Hi there evryone, I would like to know if I can add liquid goat milk to the dillution phase of liquid soap making? I would like to (if possible) have a creamy coloured liquid soap rater than brown colour.
Cheers

You can add some goat's milk at trace, but I haven't found a recipe that says you can add liquid goat's milk to dilute the finished paste.
There is a website that states that dry goat's milk can be added during the dilution stage.

I would not dilute with goat's milk. I would use it instead of the liquid required for your recipe. Goat's milk has sugars and proteins which could go bad if you added it at a later date.

Thanks for your replies, would powdered goats milk added at dillution have the tendancy to go rancid too? Also if using milks and other items that may go rancid when making liquid soaps do I need to use a preservative? I would like to keep away from chemical products where ever possible.
Cheers

As soon as you add any liquid to the soap paste, I would add a preservative for safety. I realize that the pH of liquid soap is fairly high and it might be ok without, but why take the chance?
