Since the oil is very expensive, can I get the carrot powder with the same benefits or make an oil infusion with the powder?

The oil is expensive, but you only need drops to see the benefits. Generally, if you are making creams/balms, it is better to use the oil. While I have seen the powder in agricultural packaging (oral supplements), I don't recall seeing it in the supply shops I use. Anyway, if you can find it, because they generally just dehydrate the carrots then grind them, it would not offer the properties the oil has. The oil is made from the seeds of the carrot, not the whole carrot. That is not to say that there would be no benefits. I have not researched it enough to say what the powder may/would bring to the table. So you would need to check into it more to determine if it was worth using or not.
