I have tried the recipe that doesn't include the Cocamide DEA and the Cocamidopropyl Betaine, what do these two additives do?

Cocamide DEA is cocamide diethanolamine. It is normally used to thicken a formula. Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a mild surfactant and adds bubbles.

Ok, so the thickening, I would say, isn't critical, at least I don't think, but the surfactant would be, as this adds bubbles. But I noticed that that the recipe also cals for the SLSa, which also is a surfactant and adds bubbles as well, right SoapBuddy? Do we really need both? I saw the link for the bubble bar recipe that you so kindly showed.
