I'd been using a funnel, but just got a half dozen 32-ounce squeeze bottles to try out, & they are AWESOME. They're wide-mouthed, so with a bit of finesse I can pour right from the bowl into the bottle. I cut the nozzle tips down to about 1/4 inch, so the opening's nice & wide. I can fill a 4-ounce lotion bottle in 10 seconds, with almost no spill or mess, & it's easy to refill the squeeze bottle after every 7-8 lotion bottles. *CAVEAT* My lotion is reasonably fluid, even when cold. This might not work as well with a thicker formula...
To clean up, I upend the squeeze bottle & let it drain for half an hour into one of my small sample bottles (I end up using these for myself, or to put out at open houses). A hot water rinse, followed by hot soapy water & bleach water rinse, & they're clean as a whistle. They do retain a trace of scent, but as the lotion's not sitting in them for more than a minute or two, I'm not concerned about transference.
I got a box of 6 from Amazon, but you could probably find them even cheaper at a restaurant supply shop.
