Hi,
I asked the supplier but I'm not sure she knew what she was talking about lol Maybe I don't who knows..Actually I was wrong, I asked if 5" would work, but I see 2.25x2 is 4.50 lol

I ordered some 4 oz jars, here are the dimensions

Total Jar Height: 2.25"
Jar Diameter: 2.25"

I know when things are round, it get a little trickier. I'm assuming a 2hx 4" long label would work but not sure. I wanted to order the labels now so everything would get here at the same time. I will be getting waterproof ones from labelsbythesheet
I rather use one label then 2 per jar. So I thought a longer one, I would be able to fit ingredients on there, along with the name of the product and my name
Can someone help me please, thank you :)

I use either 2x4 rectangle labels or 2" (I think) circles.

thank you, yea I was thinking 2x4 also but then got paranoid about it going over the curve at the top, like where you would screw the lid on. I was going to wait to get them and measure myself but I'm so impatient lol I could cut them but my cutting skills bite.
I found some 3 3/4 x 1 1/4 but there is no avery number for it. I usually use avery software to design things.

Here are the 2x4 ones

If you have Michael's anywhere near you, they have a cutting board and a 40% off coupon. The cutting board can also be found in your local office supply store. That way you could cut some off the top, so it would fit better.

Hi, I didn't have the jars yet so I couldn't accurately test. I just waited until they came which was today. I was right originally, 2.25 wide fits up to a 7" long label. 2x4 was to high though, so I printed out a sample of a 1 1/2 x 4 and it fit. I wish I could have found them a little longer though, but ordered the 1 1/2h x 4 long from onlinelabels.
What are you using to make yours, the full 8x11 sheet labels? I don't know what a xyron machine is lol

For my 2 & 4 oz RB jars I have to reduce the size of some labels so I get a perfect cut by using a Self-Healing cutting board, a Lip-Edge ruler, and a Rotary cutter. Go to a fabric store or Michaels and you'll find these wonderful tools. Looking back, I don't know what I did without them.

Thank you all for the suggestions! I dropped that link into my favorites.
I think I do have a cutting mat already, I had a rotary cutter too but have to look for it. I already ordered the labels, but good ideas for next time, ty!
