Hi all.

I have come up with a recipe for solid bubble bath that I am really happy with. Everything is perfect, they dry quickly, hold their shape and after 10 days they are still just as crumbly, but not 'fragile'. Everything is perfect. Apart from one thing, the FO seems to have faded away totally. It was only a test bar, so I did only make one, and used a little 'bubblegum' FO.

I have searched for threads on anchoring smells, but I cant seem to find anything that answers my question.

Can anyone give any advice on making smells last? I'm worried my bath bombs will fade too.

How much fragrance are you using? Are you using a scale to get accurate measurements?

According to my calculations, you are using 0.32 oz. per 16 ozs. of your formula. I would up it to 0.5 oz. per 16 ozs. of your formula.

I will try that! Thank you soap buddy. I just realised that I can actually use up to 3% of FO of the total mixture volume!
