Hello everyone!
My liquid soaps are on the thin watery side. Is there a way to thicken them up? I already added borax/water solution (neutralizer & thickner) as directed in catherine failor's book but
it seems like it didn't do much of anything. I'm thinking of using crothix to thicken them up . Does anybody have experience using this? Any suggestions?

You can try salt, but if you add too much it will become very liquid, like water. Liquid Crothix might work.

I'm going to pick some up at MMS. Do you think it would be a good idea to try both the salt and liquid crothix?

I'm going to divide them up and use salt on one and the crothix on the other and see which one works best.
I'll post some pics up for those who may be going through the same problems so they could see the results.

I have only used the liquid but if I remember right from checking prices a year or two ago I think the non liquid is a little bit cheaper. It may go a little further as well since it has not been made into a liquid.

Solid Crothix pastilles are a pain to work with. When I used them for liquid soap, they ended up as a soft blob on the botom of my liquid soap.

I thought the liquid form would be easier. It's not too expensive at MMS but the shipping down to Miami is a bit steep. :shock:
