So I began diluting my liquid soap paste with a tea and have been waiting a day now. I had the heat set on low at first after i added the boiling tea (according to failors book). That was for about 1.5 hours or so but it just looked the same as when i was cooking my paste, foaming here and there. So then I added more boiling tea and then turned the heat off and left to sit in the pot. One the paste diluted but then was very liquidy so I attempted to bring it to a boil and let the excess tea evaporate off (failors book). However, it seems to have returned to a bit of a paste like state. The other 2 portions of my paste that I had in different types of teas well one has a paste that seems to be a big blob covering most of the bottom of the pot, not too sticky in consistency though and the other was very gooey blobs all over the place and now is only one or two blobs but very liquidy. How do I do this dilution thing. About how long does it take. My parents want their stovetop back now that these pots have been occupying them for going on 2 days. Do I need to start all over. PLEASE HELP

Do you have a crock pot? If not, you can find some for a very good price at thrift stores. Pour whatever you have in one batch into the crock pot, turn it on low and let it be for 3 to 4 hours. Then you can break up the globs with a spatula. If it foams, spray it with some alcohol. Liquid soap does take a long time to dissolve. That's why I add all my water right up front.
