Ok, I used this recipe and am trying to figure out why I got crackage along the seams and why them seem so dry. Here is the recipe that I used and I hope someone can help me!!!

1 cp. baking soda
1/2 cp. citric acid
1/2 cp cornstarch
1 tbsp. jojoba oil
1 tbsp. FO
1 lg. Vitamin E oil pill (contents)
3 tsp. distilled water
Colorant

I mixed all dry ingredients together, then mixed all wet ingredients together, then incorporated the wet ingredients into the dry very slowly. the mixture came out very well; but sometthing happened when it was drying, they cracked on the seams and they don't have that smooth, polished feeling, they actually feel very dry!! Help!!!!!!!

I bet it was the water. I would try spritzing with witch hazel til the mixture resembles barely damp sand.
