 Post subject: Lip Balm & Mica Question

Hi!

Just wondered if someone could help me with regards to Lip Balm and adding Micas. I have some lovely Mica's to put in but I've noticed they seem to sink to the bottom of the mixture rather than stay mixed up within it.

Is there anyway to get an even mixture, rather than having what seems cream coloured balm on top and then a layer underneath of whatever colour I picked to use? It doesn't look that great! :P

I would try to pour as cool as you can. If that doesn't work, try FD&C Lakes. These are colors that are oil soluble and will mix with your oils.

Thank you :) I was just wondering if I was making some fatal flaw and being amazingly stupid lol I thought about letting it cool down so I might try that. Had a quick look for the lakes and they all seem to be for CP/MP soaps but I shall keep looking!
