Teach Soap

Plan on trying to make lotion bars for the first time this evening. Have a recipe of:

3 oz shea butter
3 oz cocoa butter
3 oz jojoba oil
3 oz beeswax

I want to try substituting both hemp oil and avocado oil for jojoba in 2 different recipes.

Opinions please.

Unless you want this rock hard, you don't have enough liquid oils in there.

The norm is 1/3 each butters, beeswax and liquid oils.

So I'd do either:

1.5 oz each cocoa and shea, plus 3 oz jojoba and 3 oz beeswax

or

3 oz cocoa, 3 oz shea, some mixture of 6 ounces liquid oils, and 6 oz beeswax. Or, whatever floats your boat!

I just want to try the liquid oils I have in stock which is olive, avocado, and hemp. Purchased some jojoba oil but had to drive over 20 miles to get it. Would just rather use stuff I already have.
