i am traing to make body butter. i found on line basic recpie:
60% butter
40% oil
so my first tray i use:for butter-she
for oil-jojoba,avocado.
it didnt ternd cremey.
my secend tray i use 50% butter,and 50% oil.
for butter-mango,cocoabutter
for oil-macadimia,avocado.
it didnt ternd cremey.
so how can i maike it cremey? cold it be thet i blend it to mach?

Are you heating your butters gently then adding the liquid oils? Are you using a blender to whip some air into it?

i heat the butter and the oil together,and blend it in ice water bowl.

Try heating only the butters til they are soft, but not melted. Then add your liquid oils. What kind of a blender are you using?

Melt the butters first. Oils should be 1-2% of the total weight of the butters. Start with .5% oil then work up. Once everything is melted, whip the ingredients with a whisk and add fragrance. Fragrance should be between 1-5% depending on the fragrance and your preference. Whip again. Put in the freezer for maybe 10 mins. Take it out and whip again. You will see that the butter has become harder and more creamy. If you want it thicker, put it in the fridge for another 5-10 mins and whip, then put into your containers.

I said to use 1-2 % fragrance, not 5 %. Start with 0.5% and work up to 1-2%
