Teach Soap

Hello,

I have some Cyclomethicone that I want to use for perfumes. Do any of you use it and if so how do you explain this ingredient to your customers?

I'm thinking of using straight Cyclomethicone with FO or using half Cyclo with half fractionated coconut oil. I sell to a pretty natural crowd so it may not go over but I can try it.

I know 100 proof vodka works too but I can't get that where I live. All I can find is denatured alcohol and it is too strong for perfume.

I use cyclo for spray perfume (cyclo and fo)...and fco for roll on..... hth.. ...

I've used cyclo before, but not to the "granola" crowd. If this is for a product you are selling, you can't use vodka, due to the FDA rules and regs.

I figured the Vodka wasn't allowed and it's impossible to get here anyway. I will try the Cyclo and see what happens or I'll just stick with roll on, solid or the sprays I make now with water and poly.

I love using cyclo in spray...it dries instantly on the skin leaving the fragrance behind
