I'm playing around with BB's Goat Milk Liquid Soap base in an effort to make a shampoo. Every time I add fragrance via EO and/or FOs, it changes the consistency of the base.....VERY thick (FOs) or "chalky" and too thin (EOs). Any idea how to add fragrance without changing the consistency?

Any good shampoo recipes using this base?
Cheers.

Welcome Lynda!
Try adding a polysorbate in equal amounts to the fragrance oil first, mix well, then add to your base.
With that said, some fragrances do thicken bases. The only way to find out is to add the FO to a small amount and see how it behaves.

Hi ,I have found that the best people to ask about BB products are the folks at BB. I pm Anne Marie when I need an answer about there products and don't want to go by just an opinion. :)
