Personally I'd go with soapbuddy's suggestion. I prefer the premade bases for perfume and body mists over the recipes I've found that call for vodka or other kinds of alcohol.

If you're looking for something natural, my suggestion would be to look into Essential Wholesale's linen spray. Wholesale Supplies Plus has a moisturizing body spray that's pretty nice.

If you'd really rather do it yourself, invest in the Perfumes and Splashes book. Most of their recipes call for vodka, however.

Also be aware that you cannot sell an item made with vodka, since vodka is drinkable and the rules and regs for selling simply do not allow it.

From the way I understand it, linen spray is not safe to use on the skin and might be very drying.

If you are spraying directly on the body then i would use frac coconut and you can also use cyclomethicone.

is there a recipe for for this? I already have cyclo...

when I read the description for Cyclomethicone on BB it seem like it's as simple as combining Cyclomethicone with a fragrance or essential oil at the appropriate ratio to make a perfume yet i've never heard it broken down that simply nor can I seem to actually get the same answer twice (whatever that answer might be) so I'm confused to say the least What are the cons to using Cyclomethicone, or what are the pros to adding other stuff?

Not all fragrances dissolve in cyclomethicone. Some tend to separate out. Other FO's work just fine. There is no master list that I know of where it would tell you which fragrances will work and which don't. You will need to experiment with a small batch.
