Teach Soap

I read some recipes about making cupcake bath bombs and I do not understand what is the purposes of frosts? Is it just for decorating? Dont they have any bath feature?
I imagine that when dropping a cupcake into my bathtube, the frost will not dissolve or it will dissolve but release uncomfortable skin feeling. Fix me plz.

It could be whipped soap. If so, it would slowly dissolve as you take a bath. Most that I have seen will dissolve. Have you seen this somewhere or are you looking at a recipe?

I see it in any cupcake BB recipes I found. Based on my memory about frosting on my old birthday cakes, ice will float on water so I think they will too.
I made cupcakes yesterday without frosting (still considering), however after a day, there appears many holes on their surfaces and do not look very smooth. Yesterday when I took them out of moulds and wrapped them in plastic bag, there were water bubbles on the bags which probably were caused by 100% humidity here. Another question soapbuddy, how much humidity is good for BB making?

100% humidity is extremely hard to work with. I would wait to make more til the humidity goes down.

Thanks guys. It is very hot and sunny in the day time so I will try doing it at noon.

It dissolves faster with hot running water but it will dissolve in a still tub as well.
