Hello Everyone!

I've been reading up on different waxes to use in lip balms and even lotions. I know vegans (unless I'm wrong) will not use beeswax in their toiletries. I read through The Herbarie that candellila wax can be used instead.
Now I know candellila wax is harder than beeswax. What is a good ratio in your opinion to use? So for example, if a recipe calls for 4 oz of beeswax - is it safe to use half the amount for candellila (2 oz)?

Just as I thought...50% less candellila in lieu of the beeswax worked perfectly :mrgreen:
