Does anyone have experience using allantoin in any of their products? I have not used it yet and was wondering if it changes the consistency or feel of products? I know it helps increase the growth of new and healthy tissue and as a skin protectant, but I don't plan on making any of these claims, in order to avoid my product being considered a drug instead of a cosmetic. So if it doesn't increase how the product feels I might just go without it. Anyone have thoughts on the product? Thanks :D

Thanks for the info. I'm waiting for a little bit that I ordered, and I will probably do some of the same- use it for personal products to begin with. I guess I will just have to experiment to see if it's worth incorporating into my other products.

Instead of saying something like "this will help rejuvenate your skin" you could say something "it is reputed that this will help re-energise your skin cells".. ???
