Is it my imagination or do arnica sticks really work? I made one for my daughter who is having all kinds of trouble with her torn labrum, disk, surgery, etc. It all translates to pain. I try to help her any way I can.

I sent one to her and made one for me because of my TMJ and neck tension. I rub it on my neck and jaw when they feel achy and voi la! It seems to go away. I had my doubts about the arnica, but it seems to help. Even if it's the power of suggestion, I don't care.

The stick has beeswax, shea, butter, olive oil infused arnica, eucalyptus, rosemary and ginger.

Unlike many anecdotal evidence remedies that many things have. I would say that this flower produces a real effect.

Thank you very much for the recipe. I'd love to be able to do more physical therapy but my insurance barely covers these kinds of visits so it will be all out of pocket. That I can't afford. But hopefully this kind of thing will help out.

I'll have to give this recipe a try as well. Like some of you, I have TMJ issues and it makes my temples swell from simply eating a sandwich. I also have partial tearing of the superpatellar tendon, the ACL, and MCL, so any soothing relief is better than nothing.

I've been using the arnica stick a lot lately. SOB insurgent students! I teach some really rough kids. Makes me think what's bothering us that the TMJ resurfaces. Maybe arnica just masks what is the issue. Sorry. Venting. Tremendous pressure.

Seashell, you mentioned that you use 10 drops of the essential oils? Is that 10 drops of each or altogether and combined for 10 drops?

Also, I just noticed the link for the flowers and I can't believe that I payed $50/lb at Starwest rather than the place that was linked. I wish I had paid more attention. But, anyway, I have some Arnica marinading in some jojoba oil and I can't wait to try it.

My husband fell off a skylift about 6 years ago and has had back issues since then. He's now a truck driver so gets bounced around, which doesn't help. I got an arnica stick from someone on Etsy who had fab reviews. Doesn't help one bit. I think his issues are too bad. He did use it on a sprained ankle and it helped somewhat.
