Teach Soap

Hi everyone, this is what happens because I'm always lurking around this forum. So I found this post I forget by whom:
"What I do is I tare the container, then go by the actual weight of the product. So if the jar weighs 2.5 ozs., that's what goes on the label".

So does that mean I weigh the actual empty container, but list the weight on my containers when it's filled with my product? I'm just a tad confused, but that's nothing new. LOL!!!

Put the empty container on the scale, then tare the scale to zero it out. Fill the container with product, to whatever weight you desire. When you label the container, the label should reflect the product weight, not the product+container weight. Because your labeling is in regards to the contents, not the container.

That said, I also know how much each one of my containers weighs, because I like to double check and ensure that my weights are still accurate before sending products out.
