1 cup of beeswax to 2 cups oil ratio will always give you hard balm. First, change the measurements to ounces (or grams), then start out with 1/3 butter (mango, shea), 1/3 wax, 1/3 liquid oils. The nice thing about balms is that if it's too hard, you can remelt it and add more oil. Keep good notes, so when you come up with a formula you like, you can repeat it.
PS. It can take up to three days before your balm reaches the final texture and hardness.
