Teach Soap

I thought I would try my hand at body butter, it came out great, nice and moisturizing but its hard. I wanted the texture to be more creamy. I used equal amounts of cocoa butter, shea butter, mango butter for my butters and avocado oil for the oil. Using the percentage of 75-25. I know the cocoa butter is a hard butter, and I still want to use it. If I decrease the amount of cocoa butter, which butter should I increase to get my soft creamy consistence? Thanks.

You have too many butters in there. You need more liquid oil like almond, grapeseed or apricot kernel. Or increase the avocado oil.

Thanks soapbuddy, I just used what I had on hand Ok, I will decrease the butters and increase the oils. Thanks.

Update, on my last batch, I decreased the coconut butter and increased the avocado oil...wonderful now. Love it.
