I am playing with Salt Scrubs using Dead Sea Salt - which seems kind of coarse - but that's a different topic....In your experiences, which are your favorite oils to include in Salt Scrubs? I'm thinking Olive oil is a bit to greasy. I like Almond because it absorbs, but it can also feel a bit greasy. What do you think? :?:

They all will feel a bit greasy because they are all oils. You can try almond, coconut or grapeseed.

Welcome *flipper*!!

I like to use olive oil in my sugar scrubs. If you use the scrub in the shower, your skin won't feel nearly so greasy; the water seems to wash the excess oil off. My skin always feels wonderfully moisturized!

Massage melts are a different story...

I use almond, avocado, coconut oils and shea and mango butters, along with an emulsifier.

I make an emulsified sugar scrub and love rice bran oil in it.
