I bought liquid soap and I got it in yesterday. I had originally wanted the liquid soap concentrate (that's what I ordered). But I called bramblberry and I was actually happy with the natural liquid Catille soap I got instead. Only thing was I wanted to dilute it. The lady on the phone said I could do a 1:1 dilution.

I started to do that and I added what I thought was the correct amount of salt to the solution. It was alot of salt!! Then my soap separated!! So I added more soap, and more water, I got a good consistency but now the soap doesn't lather!

I now realize the directions on brambleberrys website were by weight of salt, not volume. When I did the conversion I got 4 tablespoons of salt in only 2/3 a cup of water (I don't really know how... )

I have about half a gallon left of untouched soap. What do I do to fix it?? Did I just ruin it all?

That's a lot of salt! Can you use the ruined batch for cleaning around the house? At this point, I have no idea how to fix it.
