So tonight I started trying to get a little more organized and found a box of stuff I'd forgotten about. Within the box were some packages I didn't recall even having! LOL One of the packages contained pre-neutralized sodium carbomer. It said I can turn liquid to gel. I was like "What?" Still a little discombobulated from the box and where did this stuff come from...and I can make a gel? So I did a little research and made a very simple water gel (picture below). But I really can't find much more on what I can do with this stuff. All the carbomers say you need to neutralize them...well this package says it's already neutralized. I wanted to go to the supplier's site to gain some information but Southern Soapers is down. Apparently, just recently, Denise Mercelli Ballinger died. I didn't know her but it made me sad. So I have this carbomer stuff and do not know what I can do with it. Any ideas? Suggestions? Recipes? I did try to search gel but it is just too common and wouldn't do a match for me. I tried all kinds of combinations but didn't find anything that mentioned what I have.
