Hello everyone I am in search of a recipe that is like the eco-fin paraffin alternative. see I am a licensed manicurist/pedicurist and I use eco fin instead of paraffin dips and I love the eco fin it is amazing! I have the ingredients but do not know how to make a recipe...
can anyone help me with this? I buy them by the lb which is 40 cubes.
I have a wilton brownie bite silicone pan 24 cavity that I can use to make the cubes. here are the ingredients:
Ingredients
Palm Kernel Oil, Soy Oil, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Organic Coconut Oil, and Scent Appropriate Essential Oils and/or Natural and Organic Aromas.

OH I would be so so grateful if someone could help me. if you need to see a pic of the cube they make you can see at purespadirect . com search eco-fin.

Thank You so much!
Lynn

I would start some experimenting. If the ingredients are in order of highest to lowest, I would start with the palm kernel oil at the highest %, then the soy oil. The Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Organic Coconut Oil, and Scent Appropriate Essential Oils and/or Natural and Organic Aromas would be at low % since cost is an issue.
Here is what I would do. Start with 70% of the palm kernel oil since it's normally a solid at room temp, then add 20% soy oil. (If that's too soft, add more palm kernel oil.) That equals 90%. That would leave you 10% for a combination of the rest of the ingredients. Vit E is normally used at 1%, so any ingredient after that would be used at 1% or less.

Forgot to say, keep good notes, so if you come up with something that works for you, you will know how to repeat it.

I just checked the web site out (I need to stay away from there if I want a bank balance)
They look like bath melts. I'd check out a recipe for those and see how close it is.
