Hey ya'll. I've only made a few bath fizzies and this is the first time this has happened. I think i might have added too much orange eo?

I made it before work and uncovered the top, and when I got back the top looked bumpy, and then I took the bottom part of the mold off and it was smooth until the morning. Just curious what it could be!

It could be due to humidity. Did you weigh your orange oil and used it at a safe %?

Max usage rate for orange eo for a category 9 product is 5%, so as long as you used that or under, you are good. Since it is only on the half you had open to air, I would agree that it is from humidity. It is still usable, just not as cosmetically pretty. Maybe give it to yourself after a show! Or stick it in a "oops sale" basket.
