Do I have to buy this from somewhere or is there a way for me to make it myself? I know it is coconut oil & aloe....thanks!

What type of a product will you be using it for? Normally; oil base and water based ingredients will not mix. In this case it is coconut that's oil based and aloe is water based.

I saw it for sale on a soaping website- it was just called Aloe Vera Butter- that's how it came in the container to use in other recipes. It said the only 2 ingredients were aloe vera and CO. So I was wondering if I could just mix the 2 together myself?

The ones on vendor's soap sites that I have seen are hydrogenated vegetable oil (like soybean) and aloe powder. Aloe by itself has no oil content. Try it and see.
